Description: The central board of direct taxes has come up with a new rule according to the new rule quoting the pan or Adhaar number will now be mandatory for cash deposits and withdrawals in a financial year exceeding 20 lakh rupees and also in the case of opening of current account or cash credit account with a bank. The new rules which have been released by the central board of direct taxes will be effective from the 26th of May 2022.
